Angela Lacy

Founder + Chief Technologist

Angela Lacy has worked in the information technology industry
for more than 21 years. Having worked with both enterprise
clients and independent small businesses, she has experienced
the gap between what is standard operating environments for
enterprise clients, but which is often inaccessible for small
businesses. Angela founded Blue Maven IT to fill this gap.
Angela graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Computer
Science and Psychology. She has a proven success record in
leadership, client hardware, mobile device management, and
relationship management in both enterprise environments and
within independent businesses.
Her goal in transitioning from a corporate IT environment to her
own small business, Blue Maven IT, is to make IT easier and more
affordable for small businesses.

Seeing clients get a handle on their technology so they can focus on what they do for their own clients is what I like most about being a Blue Maven IT technologist. Out of my IT world, I’m watching Netflix and might be rewatching “Rings of Power.”

Knowing that my clients feel the completed work exceeded their expectations is what I like most about being in IT. When I’m not helping clients, I’m out snowboarding or wishing I was snowboarding. Or I might be watching Ted Danson and Kristen Bell in “The Good Place.”

Helping small business owners maintain their workflow without interruption is what I like most about being and IT technologist. Out of work passions include hiking and walking with my dog and watching episodes of “The Wire.”

IT is difficult especially if you don’t know what to do first. I love that I can provide a unique service to a client and take a big burden off their shoulders. Outside of IT, I enjoy time with friends and reading. You’ll also find professional soccer streaming on my devices.

I live for problem solving. The relief in a customer’s voice when I solve a complicated tech problem for them is so rewarding. When I’m not solving problems at the office, I’m gaming, streaming “Bob’s Burgers” and enjoying time with my daughter.
